Continue selling when out of stock and pre-orders
In Shopify, "Continue selling when out of stock" is a setting per variant: Everspring sets it to stop only when it creates the product in your shop and never changes it later; a product you link on Link products to Shopify keeps your setting. Everspring does switch "Track quantity" back on, at the latest in its nightly sync. If you switch continue selling on, for example for pre-orders, your customer can pay at stock 0, but Everspring refuses the order when you request fulfillment (ESC-FUL-103). In WooCommerce the plugin turns "Manage stock?" off and writes only the stock status, so "Allow backorders?" has no effect.
